10 Best Coffee Shops in Dubai (2026)

After three years in Dubai, I've worked my way through a serious number of the city's coffee spots — and narrowed it down to my 10 favourites. Each one comes with my pick of what to order. Fair warning: I'm an iced coffee drinker through and through — but whichever you go for, you'll be in good hands.

1. Julith Coffee & Roastery – Cafe & Coffee, Al Quoz – rated 4.6/5

   A spot that takes coffee seriously — their beans are regularly rated among the best, not just in Dubai but globally. I'm here most other weekends, and I order the same two things every time: the Cereal Iced Latte and the Burrata on Toast. I've worked through a good chunk of the menu and it's all HFD approved. It's also one of the biggest cafés in the city, so you'll always find a seat.

2. FLTR (Jumeirah) – Cafe & Coffee, Jumeirah – rated 4.1/5
   Also at: DIFC, Mirdif, Downtown Dubai

   It's either the Iced Breve Macchiato or the Iced Einspanner for me. The bagels are worth a look too — the Egg & Bacon Bagel, or the Coconut Cake if you're after something sweet.

3. The Espresso Lab (D3) – Cafe & Coffee, Dubai Design District (D3) – rated 4.4/5
   Also at: Al Quoz, Nad Al Sheba

   My go-to in D3. They don't serve sugar at all, which is a problem when you've got a sweet tooth like mine — so I order the TEL, an off-menu iced latte that does the job. They also supply beans to a lot of Dubai's best cafés, which tells you everything about the coffee.

4. Onda Replenishment Bar – Cafe & Coffee, Al Wasl – rated 4.7/5

   The spot for creative drinks — tucked away in Jumeirah with really cosy interiors.

5. Backyard (Umm Suqeim) – Cafe & Coffee, Umm Suqeim – rated 4.5/5
   Also at: Dubai Silicon Oasis, Al Khawaneej, Dubai Design District (D3)

   Consistently good coffee, from the same team behind HEAL — one of my favourite brunch spots. I go for the Iced Latte or the Iced Spanish when I want something sweeter.

6. Orijins – Cafe & Coffee, DIFC – rated 4.3/5

   A local favourite, with stunning interiors and genuinely good coffee. Order the Signature Latte.

7. Toby's Estate (Jumeirah) – Cafe & Coffee, Jumeirah – rated 4.5/5
   Also at: Downtown Dubai, Dubai Hills, Nad Al Sheba

   Probably the café I've been to more than any other in my three years here. The Iced Toby's Latte is my favourite in the city — whatever they do to the milk, it works.

8. KONCRETE – Cafe & Coffee, Umm Suqeim – rated 4.1/5

   The coffee's good, but I come here for the aesthetics and the vibe — they're properly creative with their drinks.

9. PDL Coffee Co. & Barber Shop – Cafe & Coffee, Al Wasl – rated 4.5/5

   Another local favourite. Great coffee, and the desserts are just as good.
